These pics are from before our snow board trip.  Noah had a pretend suitcase with all of his ski things packed in a lunch box with his name tag reading, "Property of Noah Simons."  I will try to post the pics of him in his ski outfit.  He was so cute!!!  He had baby ski pants, little boots, his fuzzy bear coat, ski hat, and mittens.  It was precious!

The new Byrne home

Video courtesy of our "real estate consultant for life", Andrea Harlan. (I had to install the latest version of Flash and Java to view this. You might have to as well... just follow the directions and if there's a problem: call Kevin!)

Daddy and Lulu all by theyselfs...

What a perfect birthday it's turning out to be! My baby and I, in the Bjorn, outside on our new back porch, or playing with toys. The only thing missing to make it all PERFECT is Mamma, who's at work right now... :(

Lulu is standing in her bouncer talking me with all kinds of lovely little cooing sounds. She's hard at work figuring out the menacing-looking sunflower-piece-of-plastic. How's that for tons of hyphenation in a single sentence?

Daddy must get back to baby now.

To Kevin! Happy Birthday! Didn't know you were aquarius/air! Fun! :)

going on a job hunt

Ok, This week starts the almighty job interview process, UGH! So, everybody say a prayer for me that I will maintain my sanity.

The new Cutrer

I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of our new addition. Addison Rachel Cutrer was born on Febuary 8, 2008 at 8:11 PM. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 7 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. That is only 4 oz. shy of Isaac back in 2001, for those keeping score. Emily and Addison are doing just fine and returned from the hospital this afternoon. The boys are just beside themselves, as they both wanted a little sister. Give them about five years and they might think a little differently. We are looking forward to the gathering this summer. I am anxious for the entire family to finally meet my herd. I will try to post more pictures and some videos soon.

Jeff

Mamma is exhausted!

It's 11 AM on Sunday morning, and poor Christye has been asleep since an hour after she got home last night (10PM). Louise and I have been watching Aunt Carrie's "Baby Babble" video and practicing what we see there. Daddy is learning all about proper speech and language preparation for our Lulu.

I'm staying quiet so Mamma can rest. Baby fell asleep after over an hour of video and play. I think she might have said something like "paw-paw", but I can't be sure.

That last sentence was written to get Dad's attention. ;)

Poor baby.

Noah has an ear ache.  I feel awful for him.  I was sick with a cold all last week and I guess I gave it to him.  :(  We are going to take him to the doctor tomorrow, but in the meantime, we are giving him tylenol and ear drops.  He just cries and grabs his little ear, which makes mommy cry.   :'(
On a happier note, we leave for our annual snowboarding trip next Sunday.  New Mexico, here we come!   Noah will get to see snow for the first time!  I have to work during the day while everyone snowboards, but it should still be a blast!  We will be back on the 24th.
On the 25th, I start training someone to do my job!  YAY!!!  She will take over the scheduling and relentless phone calls and I will continue to take care of payroll and paperwork.  This means that I can dedicate all my attention to taking care of Noah, which is what I had planned to do when I got pregnant.  I am so excited!!!  And, of course, Nick is ecstatic because he can go back to work and get out of the house.  He says he has an appreciation for the hard work stay-at-home moms do, because that's what he's been for the last 5 months!
